Caught in a cave by a snow storm.

Literally.

Matthew Williams had been walking around, and out of nowhere, a snow storm appeared. He had run to the nearest shelter, which was th cave, but. . .

He ended up getting caught inside. His only company bieng Kumajirou and the flashlight he had stown away in his pocket. It was a small one, but at least he had something to provide him with some light. Shivering, Canada crawled to a corner of the cave, hugging Kumajirou close to him for warmth.

"If anyone is there, please, help."

Hein frowned.

Oh, sure, Danmark had said that it was going to be nothing, this snow storm. He had said that the timid one would be able to get to Copenhagen for a visit.

Of course, the Netherlands wound up getting hit with the storm.

The blonde stumbled through the cave, almost falling and slipping a few times. He tightened his coat around him, but wished he'd had a hood.

Hein blinked as he saw the light, and rushed towards it, tripping and landing on the owner of the flashlight. He blushed furiously, and stood up immediately, looking away.

"...H-Hallo..." he whispered. "S-Sorry..."

Matthew lets out a small gasp.

He didn't notice someone had fallen on him. Of course, it was probably because the moment he noticed, the person had already stood up. Violet-blue eyes looked around, scanning the room for a moment. Directing his gaze at the blonde, he set Kumajirou on the ground and stood up.

"It's okay, eh. . ." Canada said in a low, slightly monotone whisper, poiting the flashlight at the unexpected 'guest'.

Nederland half-smiled, shielding his eyes a bit. "...I-I'm H-Hein... Y-You are?" he asked, still wary of the other one. He'd never seen him before, and he actually was wondering who he was. They both seemed shy, though.

Hein got an itching for a cigarette, but pushed the urge down.

"Do I look like someone you might have seen? Or Maybe you've met my brother." Turning the flashlight off, he sighs. Canada, although used to reminding people of who he were, was a bit tired of it. Lucky for him, some people seemed to remember who he was.

"Light a ciggarette and I'll kill you." He said with a smile.

He shook his head. "Nee, I-I've n-never seen you... Y-Your br-brother?" He thought for a bit. "I...Think I s-saw him d-during m-my r-release... A-And...O-Oh!" He smiled. "Y-You're Canada, r-right?" He sat down next to him, though far enough away. "J-Ja, I r-remember y-you too..."

". . .Ah, I see." Canada sat back down.

Kumajirou ran over to Hein, and sat down infront of him. "Who?" He would say, poiting at Canada. You can pretty much guess how fast the Canadian responded to this, right?

Hein shook his head at the bear, a small smile barely apparent on his face. "N-Nee... He's C-Canada. Y-You should remember him~" He nodded, and pulled his knees to his chest. The cave made everything colder.

Matthew got up and walked outside for a second, Kumajirou following him. . .

He's still outside.

As soon as the other had left, Hein slipped out his lighter and a cigarette, lit it, and puffed. He leaned back against the wall of the cave, closing his eyes, taking another puff. He sighed, feeling relaxed.

He had finished three cigarettes, and Canada still had not come back. He threw the buds in the dark, and walked to the edge of the cave, looking for Matthew. He shivered, drawing his coat around himself tighter.

Matthew was a Canadicicle, under a nearby tree right outside the cave. He was covered in cotton-white, heavy snow up to the top of his head, Kumajirou having been on his head. The said polar bear jumped off and ran over to the Netherlands.

It was another day in the Alps for Vash, alias Switzerland, until it turned into another routine snowstorm. Nothing he couldn't handle. But something was amiss, something about the usual smooth blanket of white that covered his beloved Alps was off.
At the top of the next slope Switzerland spotted a mysterious mound of snow beneath a tree. He could've sworn he saw a polar bear running from it off into a recess in the mountain.
Sniffing the air he smelt something even more curious, tobacco. Foreign ursine species and cigarettes could only mean one thing.
"Trespassers," he muttered to himself before readying his rifle.
Cautiously, he crept up to the man-sized pillar of snow and proceeded to prod it gingerly with his left hand. However, after hearing footsteps plodding through the snow he saw out of the corner of his eye a figure approaching him from behind.
"Freeze!"
