Appearance:
Michael is around 5 foot 6 ½ inches tall, and kind of lanky. He has short, messy, dark-brown hair. He has sweeping bangs going across his forehead, and they cover over the top part of his right eye. There is also a piece of hair that sticks out from the hairline on the back of his neck – however, it is not curled, merely slightly curved downwards. He wears a baggy, cream-coloured sweatshirt with the silhouette of a jumping deer on the front. Michael dons a pair of dark, grey jeans, and black boots that are hidden by his pants. His eyes are a dark, indigo colour, and are usually half-lidded, giving off the image that he is not entirely there - don't be fooled, he actually is (picture will be coming soon).

Personality:
Michael is somewhat quiet, and pretty laid back for most things. He does not make enemies easily due to his gentle and pleasant nature. However, he does have a few anger issues, but only if somebody can manage to piss him off by insulting him, his friends, etc. Also, he does not like repeating things a lot – he has a hick accent, which can make it harder for people to understand what he says. It gets irritating to hear ‘Can you please repeat that?’ over and over again, which can easily set his temper ticking.

Biography/History:
Control of Michigan had been tossed around quite a bit in the past, before he was fully American. He first belonged to France, but in the Treaty of Paris, the territory (along with all the territory of New France) was passed off to Britain. However, another treaty soon followed, and the British soldiers pulled out, putting Michigan in America's hands again. In 1812, the British soldiers invaded, and placed him under Canada’s control (shown in his last name) – but, of course, the Americans forced them out, making Michigan American again. The Republican Party held their first meeting in the state. Michigan also proved to be a good ally in the American Civil War. Nowadays, Michigan has calmed down with regards to things like that, and now merely has good resources.

Extra Information:
Do not be confused by his accent – he is quite intelligent, and pays attention to more things than people give him credit for. Also, his accent seem to vanish when he gets very angry, for reasons unknown to even Michael himself.
